Helpdesk Support Executive
We are seeking a proactive Helpdesk Support Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of technical systems, a desire to learn Odoo, DevOps, or AWS, and the ability to handle routine support tasks efficiently. Strong English communication skills and a customer-focused approach are essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for common issues, particularly with Windows operating systems.
- Learn and support the Odoo ERP system by assisting with basic user issues and managing user setups.
- Troubleshoot routine problems, such as using Ctrl + F5 for POS issues and performing basic system commands.
- Perform research (e.g., using Google) to quickly find solutions to common problems.
- Handle basic Windows support tasks, including problem identification and resolution.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
Must Have
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
- Quick learner with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve basic technical issues.
- Available to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
- Willingness to grow and develop skills in areas like Odoo, DevOps, and AWS.
- Ability to follow troubleshooting guidelines and independently seek solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Nice to have
- Previous experience in a helpdesk or IT support role is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with Odoo, DevOps, or AWS is an advantage.
